Purepore is obtained from the leaves of Barosma betulina. It is a cosmetic active substance that inhibits APN in the sebocyte membrane, blocking their stimulation induced by peptides. This triggers a series of cascade reactions inside the cell that reach the nucleus. The effect of this complex mechanism of action is the inhibition of differentiation and, therefore, a reduction in the amount of sebum excreted by cells. By reducing the final amount of sebum on the skin's surface, we improve all the symptoms of oily skin - large and visible pores are reduced, shiny areas are matte, the skin loses its greasy and shiny look and feel.
