Rosacea

Rosacea (acne rosacea) is a chronic, inflammatory facial skin disease with seborrheic origin. However, unlike acne vulgaris , rosacea is associated with a vascular skin type. Under the influence of negative stimuli (e.g. atmospheric factors, stress, poor diet), the capillaries rapidly contract and expand. It causes skin redness - the so-called symptoms of erythema. Redness is initially temporary and usually fades after some time, but may later become permanent symptoms. The permanent form consists of many dilated blood vessels, the so-called telangiectasia. They most often occur in the middle of the face, on the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin.

Further improper care may lead to the development of rosacea, for example to the formation of inflammatory lumps and shallow pimples. Therefore, in the next phase of the development of rosacea, especially in men, sebaceous gland hyperplasia may additionally occur. What's more, it can lead to nodular changes on the nose - this is a hypertrophic form of rosacea (rhinophyma).

Stages of development of rosacea:

Stress-Blockers – obtained from Rhodiola rosea ( Rhodiola rosea ) has anti-stress and relaxing properties, while improving well-being. It stimulates the production of β-endorphins and has antioxidant properties. β-endorphins are neuropeptides with neurotransmitter effects. These compounds are also called "happy chemicals" because they relieve pain and modulate mood, emotions and behavior. Grapevine extract( Vitis vinifera ), i.e. grape extract, protects the skin against infections, irritations, oxidative stress and UV rays.
