Vascular skin (capillary skin)

Vascular skin is one of the most difficult skin to care for. It is characterized by increased susceptibility to external factors. It is very thin with a visible network of blood vessels, the so-called telangiectasia( couperose). Under the influence of negative stimuli (e.g. weather conditions, stress, poor diet), capillaries rapidly contract and expand. This causes excessive redness of the skin, i.e. symptoms of erythema. These symptoms are initially transient and the redness usually fades after a few minutes. However, over time it may turn into a permanent form. Moreover, thin-walled blood vessels often burst due to high blood pressure, and permanent marks appear on the skin, the so-called "spiders". They most often appear on the cheeks, nose and neckline. Further improper care may lead to the development of rosacea.

Features of vascular skin:

Rosacea

Rosacea (acne rosacea) is a chronic, inflammatory facial skin disease with seborrheic origin. However, unlike acne vulgaris , rosacea is associated with a vascular skin type. Under the influence of negative stimuli (e.g. atmospheric factors, stress, poor diet), the capillaries rapidly contract and expand. It causes skin redness - the so-called symptoms of erythema. Redness is initially temporary and usually fades after some time, but may later become permanent symptoms. The permanent form consists of many dilated blood vessels, the so-called telangiectasia. They most often occur in the middle of the face, on the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Further improper care may lead to the development of rosacea, i.e. the formation of inflammatory lumps and shallow pimples. Therefore, in the next phase of the development of rosacea, especially in men, sebaceous gland hyperplasia may additionally occur. What's more, it can lead to nodular changes on the nose - this is a hypertrophic form of rosacea (rhinophyma).

Stages of development of rosacea:

Greater burdock extract( Arctium lappa ) – is a particularly useful and strong antibacterial agent against the Staphylococcus strain. The good results obtained in reducing the symptoms typical of acne skin and some types of eczema confirm its antiseptic properties. It regulates sebum secretion and has emollient, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. Fights free radicals.

Sage extract( Salvia officinalis ) – cleansing with antiseptic, astringent and antioxidant properties. It has anti-inflammatory and anti-irritation properties. Regulates sebum secretion. Strengthens blood vessels - inhibits microbleeding from excessively dilated or damaged capillaries.
