Cream for sensitive skin with rosacea - the most important active ingredients

✓ Azelaic acid (AzA) – reduces symptoms of inflammatory changes such as papules, spots, redness and erythema. It acts as a “scavenger” of free radicals that activate inflammatory processes. It lightens discolorations and scars, has antibacterial properties. It can therefore also be used in the summer.

✓ Stress-Blockers – obtained from Rhodiola rosea, has anti-stress and relaxing effects, while improving well-being. It stimulates the production of β-endorphins and has antioxidant properties.

✓ Ti-Rutin – an antioxidant flavonoid strengthens blood vessels and prevents capillary rupture. Improves their elasticity and permeability. Stimulates microcirculation. Reduces symptoms of inflammation and irritation, soothes and reduces the discomfort of tense skin.

✓ Skin Matrix – contains the flavonoid baicalin, which is responsible for skin cell reactivation, prolonging the active life of fibroblasts and delaying their aging process. Increases skin elasticity and firmness, which allows it to maintain the properties typical of young skin – maximum stretchability and the ability to quickly regain shape.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic, inflammatory skin condition of the face, with a seborrheic basis. Unlike acne vulgaris , rosacea is associated with a vascular skin type. Under the influence of negative stimuli (e.g. weather conditions, stress, poor diet), capillaries rapidly shrink and dilate. This causes skin redness - the so-called erythema symptoms. Initially, the redness is temporary and usually fades after some time, but later it can turn into permanent symptoms. The permanent form is many dilated blood vessels, the so-called telangiectasia. They most often appear in the central part of the face, on the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin.

Further improper care can lead to the development of rosacea, for example, to the formation of inflammatory nodules and shallow pimples. Therefore, in the next phase of rosacea development, especially in men, there may additionally be an overgrowth of sebaceous glands. What is more, it can lead to nodular changes on the nose - this is an overgrown form of rosacea (rhinophyma).

Stages of rosacea development:

• redness, symptoms of erythema of a transient nature
• symptoms of permanent erythema, i.e. telangiectasia – many permanently dilated blood vessels
• inflammatory nodules, pimples, hypertrophic changes of the sebaceous glands, nodular changes on the skin of the face
